2019 - A Look Back of the Year

What an incredible year 2019 was for us.

It was a FULL ON year navigating life as parents of very two little people whilst also managing the business.

We photographed some incredible weddings (including travelling to Mallorca and Italy) and met some awesome people. Another year where we continued to search for the right balance between work and family life and where capturing authenticity, love and real emotion topped any fancy pants hotel or snobby folk. 

It's also the year where we got married too - we felt the pressure, saw the costs and then ended up eloping to Scotland! I suppose it's all about figuring out what's most important to you as a couple. When it boiled down to it, the most important thing for us was our kids being there and that we were outside, bare footed saying our own vows. We left the party until we got home and we loved every minute.

So as we look to the year ahead we're both super excited. We've got some exciting plans and new projects and collaborations to keep the creative juices flowing. 2020 is set to be a BONKERS year for weddings (like I'm seriously wondering if there will be any weddings in 2021 - we may need to find new careers!). 

So we've made a little slideshow of the weddings we were lucky enough to be part of and it has reminded me of how incredibly lucky we are to do what we do. Thank you all for trusting in us to capture your magical days - we love you lot!
