I’ve always adored family shoots but since becoming a Mum they’ve taken on a whole new meaning. I really, REALLY love them now!

You know that the ordinary moments are the ones to treasure. That snuggling up to read a bedtime story or having a splash in the sea may be part of our ‘everyday’ but they are also the most precious times.
I love that each and every family session is completely and utterly unique, just as every family is. There’s no other team like your little team.
My photography captures your personalities. A shout of joy, that cheeky grin you love so much and their tired little yawn after a run in the woods. I love to catch a moment in time, to remind you of how it felt, not just what you all looked like. To preserve all those tiny, inconsequential memories from muddy knees to belly laughs, gap toothed smiles to the squeeze of a tiny hand.

Your family session
Wherever you love spending time, I’ll be there. My shoots are little slices of family life. From you all curled up together watching a film to chasing each other round the garden or going on a bear hunt.
I keep my family sessions laid back and relaxed. I don’t want the kids to pose or smile awkwardly at my camera. I don’t want you parents to hold back either. I want to see your connection, your love. Cast your shoes aside and run into the waves with your kids, chase them through the trees and go wild! Let’s celebrate your real life!
Warning - after your shoot you’re all going to return home a little dirtier, pretty tired and full of smiles!

What shall we wear?
Comfort is key!
My children won’t sit still and smile at the camera!
Good! I won’t be asking them too. My shoots are relaxed and all about you being you. Let the children do their thing and I’ll capture that.
I am so unconfident and worry about how I look in photographs…
I know it’s easy for me to say, but please try not to worry. Your children, your family, absolutely adore you and they’re not looking at any flaws. You are perfect in their eyes and all they care about is getting photographs with you. I promise you that you won’t regret it.
We would love a portrait shoot with you! How do we book it in?
Oh amazing, I am so looking forward to meeting you! All you need to do is get in touch and tell me all about your family then keep an eye out for my reply which will be packed full of all the info you need.
What if the weather is awful on our date?
We have two options - depending on just how awful the weather is! We can either throw on our coats and wellies and embrace it! Get out and about and jump in puddles. Or we can reschedule. I’ll be in touch with you on the lead up to the shoot and we can make a plan.
What if my child is poorly on the day of the shoot?
It’s never nice when your little one isn’t feeling well. As soon as you know that you can’t make the shoot let me know and we can reschedule.
Can we bring our dog along?
Simple answer...YES! They’re part of your family too.
How long after our session will we receive our photographs?
Once I’ve completed your session you’ll have your gallery within four weeks.
